2023 Farm Explorers: SESSION 2 (SEPT 20 - NOV 1)

Welcome to our newest family program, FARM EXPLORERS!!!

The Farm Explorer program is a hands-on, exploratory, and play-based learning opportunity geared toward 3 to 11 year olds, but all are welcome! While these are weekly classes, the intent is that the discoveries continue between classes.

The theme for our 2nd Session is "Fall Friends & Feelings"! We will focus on investigating how we can be good friends with our animals and the different ways people & animals express their emotions. Each class, the teacher will give clues to guess the "featured creature" that we will be focusing on next.

We're excited for you to join us at Learning Tree Farm each Wednesday from 10:30AM-Noon for Farm Explorers from August 2nd thru December 20th. You can sign up for a whole session or any number of individual classes as your schedule allows, but pre-registration is required. Admission to the Farm for the remainder of the day is included in your program registration. So feel free to pack a snack and/or lunch and spend the rest of your day exploring all that the Farm has to offer!

This Farm Explorers for the rest of 2023 will be as follows...

SESSION 1: Aug 2 - Sept 13 "Summer Senses"

SESSION 2: Sept 20 - Nov 1 "Fall Friends & Feelings"

SESSION 3: Nov 8 - Dec 20 (with no class on Nov 22nd, the week of Thanksgiving) "Persistent Problem-Solvers"

REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW FOR SESSION 2!

Please note this event will take place in our woodlands, barns & picnic shelter that provide some protection from the weather but are not completely "indoors”. Events at the LTF run regardless of weather and participants should dress in closed-toe shoes and be ready for muddy, "farmy", wet, and/or cold weather.* Registration is non-refundable. However, in the case of extreme conditions, LTF reserves the right to postpone or reschedule events for the safety of our participants.
