April 27th- Wake the Bees
We'll start with some games and hands-on experiences as we explore the important relationship between plants and pollinators. Then we'll join our beekeeper as he "wakes" some of the LTF bee from the winter nap and learn about how our bees survive all four seasons. We'll wrap up the day as you make your very own "pollinator power balls" to take home and support the pollinators in your very own yard!
July 20th- Meet the Bees

Then we'll join our beekeeper as he shows us different kinds of hives, the rolls differnt bees fulfill in a colony, and just how do bees make wax. Participants will get the chance to dip their own bee wax candle!
