Description

Meet the Bees 2025

Join us June 7, 2025 from 10:30 am - 12 pm on the farm to learn all about honey bees and native pollinators!

We willl start the event with games and hands-on experiences as we explore the important relationship between pollinators and our food. There will be an opportunity to taste the fruits of the bees' labors in the garden. We'll then join our beekeeper as they show us different kinds of hives, the roles honey bees play in the hive, and bee lifestages throughout the year. We will also be exploring the world of native pollinators and their special roles within our ecosystems. Our craft will be a seedball surprise to take home with you to feed the pollinators in your area!

The cost is $10 per attendee, children 2 and under are free! This event is for all ages.

Please note:

These events will take place in our woodlands, barns, and picnic shelter that provide protection from the elements but are not completely "indoors”.  Events at the LTF run regardless of weather and registration is non-refundable. In the case of extreme conditions, LTF reserves the right to postpone or reschedule events for the safety of our staff and participants.

If you have anyquestions please contact our Community Program Coordinator, Emma Wargo, at emma.wargo@learningtreefarm.org.
